Backup: Automatically create a restore point before installing new software.Automatic scanning: Regularly scans for outdated software to ensure your system is up-to-date.UCheck is a useful tool for anyone who has a lot of software installed. It is also possible to uninstall individual software. Detected program updates can be downloaded and installed directly from UCheck. To do this, UCheck scans your PC and compares the version numbers of installed programs with those from the software database, which contains around 110 tools. Uncovered security gaps in programs can be closed promptly, which increases your security on the PC. The free UCheck application keeps the software on your PC up to date without you having to do much. UCheck is a free program that automatically updates applications on your computer. I don't see a way to do this in Ucheck.Update all your compatible software with bulk selection When I decide I want to apply the update, I would like to be able to download the update from the products website via Ucheck as SUMo allows rather than a third party. I want to be able to evaluate the update and then decide if I want to apply it or not. I am another one that doesn't want updates automatically applied. It would be more user friendly if we could exclude products from update checking on the Installed list rather than having to wait until there is an update so it can be excluded there. Ucheck will not work well for me if only 16 of my products are supported. In Sumo as long as one other person is using a product that I'm using, then it will show me if there are updates available for that product. I was surprised that I had to find out about version 4.10.1.0 of Ucheck from SUMo and that it doesn't even support itself.Īre there any plans to have more products supported? Neither of these was reported by Software Informer or WingetUI or even Ucheck itself. In Ucheck if I hide Microsoft Products, it shows I have 84 products installed but only 16 of them are supported.įor example, today SUMo showed updates for AOMEI Partition Assistant and Ucheck. In Sumo I have 70 Software products I monitor and all are supported. There are a couple things I like about SUMo compared to what I am seeing in Ucheck. First of all I want to say thanks for giving consideration to ideas from SUMo users
